16 players ÷ 4. Everyone is on court every round, so this is the number you need — there is no version that fits fewer.
Rounds — 5 games each, about 95 minutes
8 a side, 4 pairs out each round. A side of 8 has 7 rounds before a partnership has to repeat. Sides are drawn when you lock, snaked so they are even.
Scoring
Games are first to 11 either way, so every court finishes together and the round can turn.
Win by 2Cap
11–10 is refused. At 15 the next point takes it, so a court can't run away with the round.
